Father's Day

Oh how I love my daddy!! Happy Father's Day!!

Landen is really starting to hold his head up really good all by himself as you can tell. He is focusing too. He will follow you side to side and then give you a really big smile.

First Road Trip June 20th 2009

On our way to Tishomingo, Oklahoma to visit family members. This is what he did the whole way was sleep. Such a good little car rider. It took us about 2 hours to get there.
On our way we stopped at Blue River its alot of fun there!! Landen will love it when he gets older..


This picture was taken right after he got his feet put in the water. It freaked him out and he cried.. It was really funny though. Grandpa(hes not sure what he wants to be called) always does things like that to him.


This is his first nap on his tummy. He loved it and slept for over 2 hours. This trip was alot of fun spending time with family.

7 Weeks Old...

I just adore his little feet. This is the first good picture that I was able to get. I love it.. They are still tiny and he is starting to like it if you play with them.. Aw how I love his feet..

His cute little hand. His fingers don't look as long as they did I guess its because he is finally starting to put a little meat on his body..

Its so crazy that Landen is already 7 weeks old. The time has gone by so fast. Last Friday I took him to the doctor because I was worried about him. It seemed like after every meal that he ate he was spitting up the same amount. I called the doctors office and they wanted to see him. At that visit he weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces. Such a big boy. When the doctor walked in he said that there was nothing to worry about since he has gained so much weight. He said that it always looks like more than it really is. For the spitting up he said that we can start using rice formula. It has helped alot. Of course we use that for the night time feedings and it seems to help keep him asleep longer. All in all he is growing like a weed and is healthy.

I made the photo board that you see in this picture!! It was so easy and worth the time!!


Kyle was so creative too!! One day while I was out shopping he painted the letters to match the bedding!! They turned out so good!! It was a surprize and it was well worth it!!

We are still trying to find things to go on the walls. It takes time. Just wanted to post the pictures of the room!! Very proud of it all!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Today was Kyle's 28th birthday and we had a ton of "surprises" for him. First we went to Dara Marie's and bought Kyle his favorite brownies and chocolate chip cookies and took them to his work. Everybody loved them. Then we went to Target to get the cheese cake that he wanted. It was from the Cheese Cake Factory. After all the running around we came home and rested until he got home from work. After he got all cleaned up the night started!! We went to Red Rodin for dinner his favorite place!! We had a party of 12 from there I think Kyle knew he was in for surprises. This year he did not want to do anything but I wanted to make it special. After eating everyone came to our house for the yummy cheese cake! I have to say we had a good time. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU DADDY!!

I want to start by thanking everyone for the love, prayers, and support throughout it all! I'm not sure how I would of made without everyone.. When I was pregnant I did not really realize how sick I was. I was worried about it but looking back on it I'm in shock!! I do have to say that April 30th was a very scary day for me. Everything all happened so fast and I was really freaked out. That whole afternoon and the few days after were really a blur for me. I don't remember a whole lot about it to be honest. All I know is that I was really sick like I had the flu from the medicine that I was on and I felt bad that I was not able to care for Landen the way I wanted and needed to. I couldn't even have visitors!! How sad it that?? Everyone knows that I love to have people around!! Even the first few weeks I did not feel normal. But now I'm finally starting to feel better and I'm able to really enjoy our little bundle of joy!! I do have to say that Kyle is the best daddy that Landen could ever have!! Landen is truly a blessing and we are so lucky at how healthy he is! With as sick as I was I think someone was watching over us to keep him healthy. One less thing that we had to worry about!!
